When you create an account, we collect the information provided by your OAuth provider (Google or GitHub): your name, email address, and profile image. We do not collect or store passwords.
We also collect usage data necessary to operate the service: products you generate, niche scans you run, Pinterest pins you create, and your cupcake transaction history.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Kupkaike service.
- To process payments via Stripe (we never see or store your card details).
- To manage your cupcake balance and transaction history.
- To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. receipts).
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs data shared with them.
- Anthropic — product ideas and queries are sent to the Claude API to generate content. We do not transmit personally identifiable information to the API.
- Google / GitHub — only for authentication; we receive only the profile data you authorise.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
5. Cookies & Session Data
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS, HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and secure session management. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled exclusively via OAuth providers.
